About Us

“The Standard”, is a Colorado non-profit corporation formed in 2004, whose mission is to help other non-profits raise the funds required to operate.  Our goal is to financially help organizations that  actively work to improve the quality of life in our communities and world.    You can help us accomplish our mission by participating in our fundraising events. With your help we can achieve our dream of raising over $1,000,000 for charity.

“The Standard” is operated by a Board of Directors.  The Board is responsible for planning, organizing and hosting different events, and also running the day to day affairs of the business.  Currently there is no one on the pay-roll and all work is done on a volunteer basis.  This allows, “The Standard” to pass along a very high rate of our incoming donations to the charities of choice.

Our goal is to pass along at least 90% of all net proceeds to other charitable organizations.  For more financial information on our organization please click here.

LAZAREX CANCER FOUNDATION

The Lazarex Cancer Foundation builds a bridge to hope, dignity and life for cancer patients and their families. We provide financial assistance to defray the costs associated with patient participation in FDA clinical trials. Additionally, we help patients navigate their clinical trial options and provide community education and outreach services. Our mission is to provide resources for cancer patients who’ve been told they have no other options, but who are not yet done with their journey in life and refuse to give up now.

PIKES PEAK RANGE RIDERS FOUNDATION

The non-profit Pikes Peak Range Riders Foundation was founded in 1999 to promote and preserve the western heritage of the Pikes Peak Region by providing their Latigo Trails Heritage Centre, multi-use community facility, to organizations and individuals for their charitable, educational, cultural and recreational activities. The Centre also hosts the Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center’s special needs equestrian program.

THE LITTLE SISTERS FUND

The Little Sisters Fund (previously known as the Bahini Fund for Nepali Girls Education, Inc.) is a scholarship and mentoring program for motivated Nepalese girls living in extreme poverty. Without Fund support, these girls might be forced to discontinue school, and would be susceptible to child labor, child marriage, and/or child trafficking (including the international sex industry). Currently supporting the education of 100 girls in Nepal.    The Little Sisters Fund has:

  1. Supported over 500 individual years of education in our first six years.

  2. Established a 1,500 volume library in Nepal.

  3. Provide basic health care for all the little sisters.

  4. Established a small computer center in Nepal.

To date we have given $91,397.89 to other charitable organizations and causes.  That leaves us $908,602.11 away from meeting our long term goal.  Please let us know if you would be interested in donating your time or money to “The Standard”.
